HRI Receives Increased Pledge AmountSource: ONLA

The Horticultural Research Institute (HRI) and its Endowment Fund, the research division of the American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA), announced the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association (ONLA) Board of Directors has agreed to increase its monetary pledge of $500,000 to $750,000 to HRI. Currently, the ONLA has $462,071 in the Ohio Research Endowment Fund, managed by HRI.

The ONLA is approaching a milestone as it celebrates its 100th anniversary in 2008. The association was formed by a group of industry leaders in January 1908. While events will be planned throughout next year to celebrate the organization’s anniversary, a gala celebration will kick off the year on January 21, 2008, following the opening day of the CENTS Show.
