UF Trial Garden Announces Spring Award WinnersSource: University of Florida

The University of Florida trial garden recently selected its spring award winners based on April and May garden performance when weather conditions are similar to late spring in the Southeast and summer in the Midwest. The trial places significant emphasis on new introductions. It is the first opportunity for growers to see a comparative trial in the East of varieties introduced at the California Pack Trials.

The Florida trials recognize 10 varieties as the Best New Varieties and recognition is given to Outstanding New Varieties. See which varieties may fit into your production schedule for next spring.
