American Coolair Celebrates 80 Years of Innovation

Eighty years later, and American Coolair doesn’t show any signs of letting down its zest for product innovation.

The company is celebrating its 80th anniversary by furthering its tradition of introducing new and exciting products to the marketplace, and improving their existing product line.

American Coolair was the first to develop a line of G90 galvanized fans, to use electrostatic powder paint, and to develop a single panel of 48/52 inch shutter, according to a company press release. It was also the first to develop a 52-inch line of fans, to use 50/60 HZ motors, to make fiberglass fans in the slant-wall design, and to make 60-inch slant wall fan.

Another key to the company’s success is the exclusive Coolair static shaft design, which extends belt and bearing life. Most recently, American Coolair introduced the next-generation Inlet Damper.

Today’s Coolair products are fabricated in the company’s 210,000-square-foot manufacturing complex in Jacksonville, Fla.
