PPA Central Region Perennial Symposium to Take Place in MadisonSource: Perennial Plant Association

The Perennial Plant Association is sponsoring a two-day perennial symposium on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 22 and 23, in Madison, Wis.

On Friday, six speakers will share their expertise on a variety of woody and herbaceous perennials. Topics range from the best perennials for the region, an organic approach to perennial gardening and perennial maintenance.

A daylong tour will be the Saturday’s highlight, with visits to the Madison Farmer’s Market, three private gardens, a public garden and two nurseries selling cutting-edge perennials.
