CO-EX Corp. to Reorganize Company Structure

EMP SA, a manufacturer of advanced polycarbonate sheets and systems, recently announced the expansion of its operation in international market by exploring new opportunities in previously untapped areas.

After three years as managing director of CO-EX Corp., Mike Johnson will leave CO-EX to make available his vast experience in the plastic industry and steward the new initiative of the EMP SA group.

CO-EX will continue to strengthen its position as the group representative in North America by proposing innovative solutions for greenhouses, OEM, plastics distribution and architectural daylighting applications.

Daniels Plant Foods Hires New Sales Manager

Daniels Plant Food recently hired Mark Freeman as Western Technical Sales Manager. Daniels is an industry leader in sustainable, organic-based and cost-effective plant food products for the professional grower, landscaper and home gardener.

Freeman has extensive experience as a grower and greenhouse manager, with more than 30 years in the industry. Most recently he was assistant branch manager with John Deere Landscapes in Troy, Mich.

Keith Manbeck Joins PlantHaven

PlantHaven announced the appointment of Keith Manbeck as Manager of Tree and Shrub introductions including the PlantHaven Shrub Program. This is an expanded role for Manbeck who is a former president of the Ohio Nursery and Landscape Association. He serves our industry as a member of the Board of Trustees of the Horticultural Research Institute, a branch of the American Nursery and Landscape Association.
