Terra Nova Introduces 15 New VarietiesSource: Terra Nova Nurseries

Last week, Terra Nova Nurseries, Canby, Ore., announced 15 new plant introductions and a new series called Crocosmia Twilight Fairy will debut at OFA Short Course in Columbus, Ohio.

The 15 new plants are from a wide range of genera including 10 individual varieties, five plants added to four existing series, and one brand new series.

The 15 new varieties include :

  • Agastache ‘Blue Boa’
  • Crocosmia Twilight Fairy™ Crimson
  • Crocosmia Twilight Fairy™ Gold
  • Geum ‘Firestorm’
  • Echinacea ‘Leilani’
  • Helleborus ‘Rose Quartz’
  • Heuchera ‘Cajun Fire’
  • Heuchera ‘Creole Nights’
  • Heuchera ‘Delta Dawn’
  • Heuchera ‘Spellbound’
  • Heucherella ‘Solar Eclipse’
  • Heucherella ‘Sunrise Falls’
  • Kniphofia ‘Redhot Popsicle’
  • Polygonatum ‘Double Stuff’
  • Rudbeckia ‘Little Henry’

Terra Nova also announced that Dan Heims will be speaking at two different sessions on July 9 at OFA Short Course. Heims will speak in the morning on “Killer Perennials” .

His second speaking event will take place that afternoon on “Garden Gems” where he will discuss the latest and most exciting perennials, tropicals and woodies in today’s market.
