Spring Collection — 2004 Introductions

Sunsatia(TM)

Nemesia hybrid

A breeding breakthrough in Germany led to this fantastic and
totally unique new series. The plants are mounded and then cascade over the
edge of the pot or basket. They flower in complete abandon often so covered in blooms
it is impossible to see the foliage. They come in a wide color range (Red,
yellow, white, cream, and bi-colors) with more to come soon. Sunsatia(TM) is
extremely versatile and thrives in a variety of temperatures handling both heat
and cold. The plants are excellent in pots, hanging baskets, and landscapes and
make an excellent combination plant. They can be used in much the same way as
Diascia but with a completely different color range. The six varieties are well
matched for habit and performance with Peach varying slightly, it is compact
upright instead of mounded trailing. The six cultivars are ‘Sunsatia(TM)
Banana’, ‘Sunsatia(TM) Coconut’, ‘Sunsatia(TM) Cranberry’, ‘Sunsatia(TM)
Lemon’, ‘Sunsatia(TM) Peach’, and ‘Sunsatia(TM) Pineapple’.

with consumers. Osteospermum have become better known with the introduction of
the Symphony series which has greater heat tolerance. Now we bring you
Soprano(TM) a new series of Osteospermum that compliments the Symphony series.
Soprano(TM) has compact habit and a long flowering period beginning in early
spring and continuing through the first few frosts of fall. These varieties are
excellent in containers and the landscape with good heat tolerance although not
