Oasis Introduces New Rooting Foam, Consumer PackagingSource: Oasis Growing Solutions

Oasis Grower Solutions has introduced its new Rootcubes Plus Growing Media – a rooting foam designed specifically for indoor hydroponic gardening.

Oasis Grower Solutions has introduced its new Rootcubes Plus Growing Media – a rooting foam designed specifically for indoor hydroponic gardening.

This new higher density, lower drainage foam reportedly shaves a few days off the hydroponic propagation process. Created exclusively for propagation of slow-to-root vegetative cuttings, Rootcubes Plus media now gives hydro hobbyists healthy, robust plants even sooner than before.

Based on a recent study conducted on cultivars from Syngenta Flowers, Rootcubes Plus Growing Media significantly enhances propagation in slow-rooting poinsettia cultivars, increasing the percentage of rooted cuttings by as much as 25 percent. A second study, conducted on poinsettia cultivars from Paul Ecke Ranch using new Oasis Rootcubes Plus media, showed very similar results.

With its fine-cell design that increases contact between the media and the end of the cutting, Rootcubes Plus foam enables quick and easy water uptake. Plus, its higher density grips cuttings tightly, keeping them in place. And with its inclusion of the proper amount of starter nutrients,  Rootcubes Plus works well for slow-to-root vegetative cloning.

Oasis Grower Solutions also has introduced new retail-friendly packaging. The eye-catching new packaging is also quite functional. The clear plastic cover sheet delivers its message to growers, while affording them a great view of the media inside. The back of the sheet includes tips on getting started, growing from unrooted cuttings, seed germination, and transplanting. The new packaging also protects the Oasis Grower Solutions foam so it arrives and remains in the same  condition as when it leaves the factory.
