John Henry Company recently launched BloomIQ.com mobile to assist consumers while they are in the store or at the garden center shopping for plants or cut flowers.

The new mobile version offers the same information, inspiration, and ideas available on the BloomIQ.com website in a format compatible with any smartphone or other mobile device.

With a plant database of more than6,500 annuals, herbs, vegetables, perennials, trees, shrubs, and indoor plants BloomIQ.com is a resource for gardeners who need help selecting plants that fit their growing conditions and design style.

There are also more than 40 feature articles on outdoor gardening, indoor plants, edibles, and cut flowers authored jointly with leading experts. Developed with consumers in mind, the articles provide in-depth information, inspiration, and helpful tips on selection and care of live plants and cut flowers, as well as design ideas and troubleshooting advice.

“We are very excited to now have BloomIQ.com fully accessible for consumers at home or on the go,” says Kristi Huffman, vice president, John Henry Horticulture. “Our solutions-based approach enables growers, garden centers, supermarkets, and retail florists to provide customers the information and information they need for a more successful experience.”

BloomIQ.com is available as part of a turnkey marketing program that imprints scannable 2D codes on print and packaging to connect consumers to the website using a smartphone. The program provides graphic design and code creation services; URL management tools; website content; and reporting metrics to customers interested in digital marketing support for their products.
