What Are You Doing Next Week? By Tim Hodson

If you haven’t made plans to attend the 2012 OFA Perennial Production and Retail Conference next week in Michigan, you still have time.

The conference will take place Sept. 10 to 12, at the Amway Grand Hotel in Grand Rapids.

If you are already growing and selling perennials or just thinking about getting into perennials this is the place to be.

There will be in-depth seminars, a tour of several perennial growers, hands-on workshops and a trade show where you can immerse yourself into the world of perennial production and retailing.

If you haven’t decided whether or not to attend, then check out this series of videos from noted experts Dr. Bridget Behe, Dr. Margery Daughtrey, Joe Baer, Dr. Allan Armitage and Paul Westervelt.

If you were debating on attending the conference, after watching these videos, the decision should be pretty easy.

To register for the 2012 OFA Perennial Production and Retail Conference, go to the conference registration page.
