Texas Conference Focuses on Invasive Plants and PestsSource: Texas Nursery & Landscape Association

The Texas Invasive Plant and Pest Conference will take place Feb. 26-28, 2014, at the University of Texas at Austin Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas, Texas.

The Texas Invasive Plant and Pest Conference will take place Feb. 26-28, 2014, at the University of Texas at Austin Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas, Texas. Co-hosted by the Texas Invasive Plant & Pest Council, the Marine Science Institute and the Institute for the Study of Invasive Species, the conference includes keynotes; concurrent sessions addressing coordination, prevention, early detection, management and research; poster; and symposia. The conference is meant to serve scientists, land managers, state and federal agencies, local governments and other interested professionals. Stakeholders are invited to submit abstracts by Jan. 15, 2014, if interested in presenting some aspect of their work in contributed presentations or posters.
