BASF Fungicide Approved for Ornamental UseSource: BASF

BASF has received U.S. Environmental Agency approval of Trinity fungicide for use in a wide range of ornamental applications.

BASF has received U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval of Trinity fungicide for use in a wide range of ornamental applications. “Trinity fungicide offers preventive control for many common diseases, including powdery mildew, anthracnose, leaf spot, crown and basal rot, stem blight and more, along with a higher level of plant safety for many sensitive crops,” says Kathie Kalmowitz, market development specialist for BASF. The fungicide can be applied as a single foliar spray or tank mixed with other ornamental fungicide. It’s now labeled for use in greenhouses, lathhouses and shadehouses, containers, outdoor and field nurseries (including Christmas tree and forest or conifer plantations), retail nurseries, residential and commercial landscapes, interiorscapes and other non-turfgrass landscape areas located at golf courses, recreation areas and parks.
