Sutera

Blue Bubbles and Snow Globe are two new additions to the sutera Snowstorm series. They perform well both in the landscape and in containers. Snowstorm sutera are continuous bloomers, and deadheading is not necessary. Blue Bubbles has blue double flowers, and Snow Globe has large single blooms. 

Maintain media pH at 5.5 to 5.8 and EC level at 0.6 to 0.9. Snowstorm sutera has medium fertilization requirements (150-200 ppm).

Keep water level at moderate to moist. Do not allow plants to dry out as they will drop both buds and flowers causing the plants to flush out of bloom for several weeks. 

Recommended rooting out and growing on temperature is 65 to 72° F. Holding temperature should be 50 to 60° F. 

Pinch as needed or to shape plants. An application of B-Nine (daminozide) at 500-750 ppm is effective.

Finish time is four to six weeks for 4- to 5-inch and quart pots, five to seven weeks for 6-inch and gallon pots, seven to nine weeks for 7- to 9-inch pots, and 10 to 12 weeks for 10- to 12-inch and gallon pots.
