A Blooming 15th Anniversary By Tim Hodson

Did you know that America in Bloom (AIB) will be celebrating its 15th anniversary this year?

The celebration will take place Oct. 6 to 8, at the Symposium & Awards Program Celebration in Arroyo Grande, California — and you can be a part of it.

America in Bloom’s mission is to promote nationwide beautification through education and community involvement by encouraging the use of flowers, plants, trees, and other environmental and lifestyle enhancements.

America in Bloom envisions communities across the country as welcoming and vibrant places to live, work, and play — benefitting from colorful plants and trees; enjoying clean environments; celebrating heritage; and planting pride through volunteerism. AIB

Whether or not you can make it to California for the Symposium & Awards Program, America in Bloom wants you to be there in spirit.

As part of its anniversary celebration, AIB has launched a fundraising effort and is looking for industry participation. The organization has established a landmark goal of $115,000 in new funds to help advance its mission.

AIB is asking people to consider donating $115 to show their personal support for AIB and its collaborative work to create vibrant communities across the country. And if you didn’t know already, America in Bloom is an independent, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization so contributions to the organization are tax deductible.

If you join this special crowdfunding effort by Sept. 15, AIB will include you in the 15th Anniversary Symposium & Awards Program Celebration brochure and in all related post-Symposium publicity.

America in Bloom is a great program for you and your company to get involved with because it allows you to demonstrate your leadership in the community and showcase what your products can do.
