Philips Introduces GreenPower LED Interlighting

Philips Lighting introduced the new Philips GreenPower LED interlighting system at IPM ESSEN in Germany.

The new interlighting system boosts high-wire yield during the darker periods of the year, with sideways-facing LEDs focusing growth-stimulating light on the most vital parts of crops. Moreover, it will do this highly efficiently since it offers a system efficacy of 3.0 μmol/J, according to Philips.

The new system is designed to ease the installation process with its plug and play connector as well as its flexible cable connections which allow it to be lifted easily up to one meter during installation. Up to 33 interlighting modules can be connected to the system with just one power connection. The GreenPower LED interlighting module is also designed specially to minimize maintenance.
