• Grows and oversees stock plants for perennial cutting production during the fall and winter months. Responsible for 57,600 square feet of cold frames for annual production in spring and summer.
• Member of Plant Select Organization. Works with colleagues from Denver Botanic Gardens and Colorado State University on new plant introductions and ways to optimize stock plant production.

In His S-s-s-pare Time: Mark is an aspiring herpetologist. He currently owns two salamanders and one bearded dragon.

Down but Not Out In 2010, his family was affected by the Fourmile Canyon Fire near Boulder, Colorado. His family home was destroyed by the 11-day wildfire, but they have since rebuilt a cabin where the home once was.
