• Joined Plantworks Nursery as part-time employee while still in college in 2009 and purchased the company from former owner Doug Chapman in 2017.
• First greenhouse grower to complete the two-year North Carolina Tobacco Trust Fund Commission’s Agricultural Leadership Development Program hosted by North Carolina State University.

Ready to Respond: No stranger to putting out everyday fires in her business life, Dana is also a volunteer firefighter in her local community. Her husband, Joel, is a captain on the fire department.
