New Insecticide/Miticide Receives OMRI Listing

OHP’s new biosolution Pycana insecticide/miticide has received OMRI (Organic Materials Review Institute) listing.

According to its website, OMRI features the most complete directory of products for organic production or processing under the U.S. National Organic Program Standards.

Pycana is a unique combination product containing natural pyrethrins and canola oil that provides quick knockdown of many insects and mites including aphids, thrips, whiteflies, spider mites, leafhoppers, earwigs, plant bugs, psyllids, mealybugs, and more.

Pycana is labeled for use on for ornamentals, fruits, vegetables, and herbs, grown in greenhouses, shadehouses, hoophouses, and in container nurseries.

Biosolutions is segment of the OHP product line comprised of products that are specifically designed to address the increasing number of growers who use biological pest control programs.
