PGR Now Registered for Use in Canada

Growers in Canada now have a proven plant growth regulator, Concise from Fine Americas, to add to their plant quality strategy. The company recently announced that the  PGR  is now registered for use in Canada.

“This registration opens the door for Canadian growers to step up their growth control approach with a proven, effective tool backed by years of science and successful commercial greenhouse use,” says Greg Johnson, President, Fine Americas, Inc.

A uniconazole-p growth regulator, Concise is highly effective at low use rates. It reduces plant height by limiting internode elongation, resulting in more desirable, compact and marketable plants.

Concise is registered for use on a number of ornamental crops including bedding plants, potted plants (flower/foliage), bulb crops (herbaceous and woody), perennials and others. It can be applied via foliar spray, drench, dip (bulb/liner) or media spray.
