Captivating combinations that are easy to finish for growers By Heather Machovina

New mixes were highlighted during California Spring Trials in March 2024

In response to a need for easy combinations, breeders have created mixes that make retail-ready containers a breeze for growers. Through trials, variety combos were created that require the same water and nutrient inputs, finish and bloom at the same time, and have similar growth habits so one doesn’t shade out the rest. They showed off results at California Spring Trials in March, with easy-to-finish combos and baskets for growers that consumers will want to buy and be successful in keeping through the season.
