Getting the Most out of PGRs and New PGR Combos with Great Promise

Roberto Lopez, Ph.D., is an associate professor and controlled environment/floriculture Extension specialist with a 45% research, 30% teaching and 25% Extension appointment in the Department of Horticulture at Michigan State University. In this session, Roberto will share the latest MSU research results on the effectiveness of foliar rooting hormone applications on difficult-to-root species, including tips for consistent ethephon spray results. He will also show you the benefits of micro drenches for those that struggle keeping annuals and perennials in check with PGR sprays but are afraid of utilizing a drench due to the residual effects for consumers.
