ASTA to Meet Next Month
The American Seed Trade Association’s (ASTA) 59th Vegetable & Flower Seed Conference will take place Feb. 1-4, 2020 in “America’s Salad Bowl” of Monterey, California.
The conference will bring together roughly 1,000 seed professionals from nearly 40 countries for an unparalleled educational and networking experience.
In addition to timely sessions on global trade and tariff developments, two general sessions will offer key insights into the industry’s future. First, Brett Sciotto of Aimpoint Research will present recent case study outcomes on the “Farmer of the Future,” followed by a value chain industry trends session featuring Randy Riley of major retailer Kroger Foods, and Brian Church of Church, a grower/packer/shipper in California.
The Trading Room once again serves the networking hub of international business-to-business meetings, including representatives from over 140 companies from around the globe.
The conference will take place at the Monterey Conference Center, with group lodging rates available at the adjoining Portola Hotel and Monterey Marriot.
