Ball Horticultural Co.has published its 2025 sustainability report, “Sowing Sustainability,” outlining companywide goals and progress across global operations.

The report is organized around three focus areas: products, people and planet. It details the company’s 2030 sustainability strategy, launched five years ago and modeled after United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Ball’s stated targets include ensuring 100% of employees earn a living wage by 2025, reducing its corporate carbon footprint by 50% by 2030 and achieving zero discharge of hazardous pollutants and chemicals by 2025.

“As an industry leader in the research, breeding, production and distribution of horticultural products, Ball acknowledges the importance of being a steward to its people, the planet and the global community,” said Susannah Ball, sustainability lead for Ball Horticultural Co.

The company operates in 20 countries across six continents, supplying breeding, production and distribution services to greenhouse growers and other horticulture businesses. The report highlights sustainability initiatives across its global facilities and supply chain.

The Sowing Sustainability report is available digitally in English and Spanish, with printed copies available upon request. The company also launched a sustainability landing page to provide updates on its environmental and workforce goals.
