Benary shares important mesage

On Dec. 19, 2023, Matthias Redlefsen, president at Benary sent an updated message regarding the recent targeted cyber attack it experienced.

The email update from Redlefsen stated:

Dec. 19, 2023

Dear Valued Customers and Business Partners,

Unfortunately, we had to inform you on Dec. 4th that our company fell victim to a cyber attack. Today, I am very happy to share with you that our warehouse in DeKalb is operational again. Within the last two weeks, we have successfully restored the key elements of our computer systems.

I also would like to inform you that no sensitive customer data has been taken or abused. This is an important milestone for us, as it will enable us to start processing orders and shipping seeds again. We will be working long hours in multiple shifts, as we have to make up for two weeks of down time during the busiest time of the year.

All Benaryans are super motivated, and all hands are on deck to serve you as best as possible. One caveat is that we have to set priorities based on shipping times, business needs, critical sowing dates, etc., which can cause delays in certain areas.

In case you have questions please reach out to us directly at our US office (+1-815-756-4546) or per mail to Doreen Rowe drowe@benary.com or contact your Area Sales Manager.

Again, we sincerely apologize for the interruption in business operations and any inconveniences that this has caused.

On behalf of all Benaryans, I would like to thank you for your patience, loyalty and commitment during the last two weeks and for the upcoming days.

All my best,

Matthias Redlefsen

President
