Danziger unveils new varieties for 2027 season
Danziger has launched its 2027 season with new plant varieties and growing techniques for greenhouse and nursery growers. The company introduced the offerings during InnovationFest, its annual showcase of breeding innovations and horticulture trends.
“The 2027 season is going to be extraordinary, with new genetics that bring beauty to the next level,” said Ori Danziger, deputy CEO. “These varieties offer the colors and patterns growers and home gardeners are looking for, as well as a few surprises that will be on everyone’s list for next season.”
Among the new releases is the AMAZONAS petunias collection, which adds three colors — Midnight Finch, Pink Macaw and Violet Parakeet — to the existing Plum Cockatoo variety. The series features ruffled green edges and bold bloom colors for patio pots, hanging baskets and garden displays.
Danziger also introduced ‘OMBRE Tyler Glam’ calibrachoa, which features larger flowers in red, orange and yellow tones, and ‘SOL LUNA Orange Duet’ hybrid impatiens with large bicolor blooms in sun or shade.
Additional releases include three new NESIA nemesia colors — Arctic Blue, Hot Red and Gold — selected for heat tolerance, early flowering and compact growth. The BESTIES osteospermum series adds Playful Bicolor Purple, Vivid Violet and Brilliant Bronze to the collection, offering synchronized flowering for consistent displays.
Danziger said the new varieties combine vibrant colors with reliable performance and are suited for 6-packs, quarts, combinations and landscape plantings.
