Dramm promotes Les Evans to head water division
The Dramm Corporation has promoted Les Evans to lead its DRAMMwater business segment, succeeding Al Zylstra, who will retire in July 2025.
Evans, who joined Dramm in 2009, initially served as the company’s first Northeastern U.S. technical representative. He later rejoined the company after a brief departure to work on the DRAMMwater team, where he held roles spanning regional sales and system engineering.

“Les has helped establish DRAMMwater as a leader in Complete Water Management for the horticultural industry,” the company said in a statement.
Evans will now oversee the segment’s continued focus on irrigation and water management systems tailored to horticultural and greenhouse growers.
Zylstra has led DRAMMwater since its founding in 2010, building the unit from the ground up. Following his retirement, he will remain with the company on a consulting basis as the DRAMMwater emeritus manager.
The Dramm Corporation, founded in 1941, provides irrigation equipment and complete water management design solutions for commercial growers.
