FlowerTrials 2025 to highlight plant innovations this June
FlowerTrials 2025 will return June 10-13 in the Netherlands and Germany, offering pot and bedding plant professionals an in-depth look at the latest breeding innovations. The annual event is expected to draw thousands of visitors from across the globe and will feature 56 plant breeders showcasing new varieties across 27 indoor and outdoor locations.
The timing of the event aligns with peak flowering season, giving greenhouse growers and horticulture professionals the opportunity to evaluate varieties when they are at their best. Breeders will share insights on cultivation practices and retail presentation strategies tailored to current market and consumer trends.
“If you want to obtain an overview of the latest innovations in pot and bedding plants in the most efficient way, FlowerTrials is a must-attend event,” said Ann Jennen, secretary general of Fleuroselect.
The event also aims to address industry challenges such as sustainability, energy-efficient production and climate-resilient plant breeding. Organizers noted that modern consumers increasingly seek plants that are heat- and drought-tolerant or pollinator-friendly, while growers are focused on varieties that reduce resource inputs.
For horticulture professionals, FlowerTrials offers a central platform for exchanging ideas, scouting promising genetics and preparing for future production planning.
