HRI Celebrates Giving Tuesday
The Horticultural Research Institute (HRI) will participate in the global day of giving known as Giving Tuesday. Giving Tuesday is held on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving as a reminder to support non-profit organizations.
This day gives HRI an important platform to help share its message of working every day to direct and fund needed research for the industry.
HRI is encouraging the horticulture industry to spread the word about the importance of HRI. By sharing your story (why you support HRI) on Giving Tuesday, you can influence others to do the same.
Share your support for HRI on various social media pages (your personal pages or your business pages). Just say why you support HRI, tag @HortResearch on Twitter and @HRIResearch on Facebook, and link to the HRI website at www.hriresearch.org. HRI has created a few template images that can be downloaded and shared. You can do this leading up to Giving Tuesday and on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28.
