Hydroponic Greenhouse Tomato Production Intensive Course to Meet in January
The University of Arizonas Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) will host its annual Hydroponic Greenhouse Tomato Production Intensive Course Jan. 4 to Jan. 9, 2015 in Tucson, Arizona.
The course will focus on growing tomatoes hydroponically in a greenhouse and will be taught by hydroponic specialist Pat Rorabaugh, Ph.D., with a special lecture from controlled environment agriculture expert Merle Jensen, Ph.D.
The Tomato Intensive Course will begin with a tour of the CEAC facilities and the first lecture introducing CEA and hydroponics.
The course includes over 12 hours of training in a hydroponic greenhouse, and over 30 hours of discussion and lecture.
It will also feature a round table discussion with greenhouse engineers, where students can ask experts questions regarding their greenhouse design and operations.
