Indoor Ag-Con spotlights 2025 indoor farming trends

Indoor Ag-Con, set for March 11-12 at Westgate Las Vegas, will highlight key innovations shaping the future of indoor agriculture. The event will feature more than 200 exhibitors showcasing advancements in greenhouse technology, climate control, and sustainable farming solutions.

Among the top trends in 2025 is the rise of smart greenhouses, which integrate climate control systems to improve efficiency. Companies like Rimol Greenhouse Systems (Booth 903) and Lubing Horticulture (Booth 225) are developing solutions that enhance airflow, shading, and energy use to optimize crop production.

Climate control remains a priority as growers seek to manage temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels with AI-driven automation. “The Horticulture Company” by Nebula Grow (Booth 503) will showcase its Nebula Grow Pod and fertigation system, while Hoogendoorn (Booth 803) will demonstrate how its IIVO algorithms enable real-time climate adjustments.

Sustainable storage and containment solutions are also advancing. Companies like MFG Tray (Booth 1116) and Anu (Booth 1111) offer systems for hydroponic and aeroponic farming, ensuring precise nutrient and water management while minimizing waste.

“The indoor agriculture industry is rapidly evolving as growers adopt new strategies to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability,” said Ken Fisher, AmericanHort president and CEO.

As these trends develop, Indoor Ag-Con will serve as a hub for industry professionals seeking the latest innovations in controlled environment agriculture.
