Linwell Gardens joins ThinkPlants network

Linwell Gardens has joined the ThinkPlants network of breeders, growers and suppliers. This new addition to the ThinkPlants family continues to expand the growing portfolio of genetics and broaden the reach ThinkPlants and its suppliers and customers have in the North American Market.

Linwell Gardens, headquartered in Beamsville, Ontario, Canada, is the newest addition to the growing list of ThinkPlants participants. “We feel strongly about increasing the presence of ThinkPlants perennials in Canada,” said Joey Wiseman, director of ThinkPlants. “And adding a participant and fantastic young plant producer like Linwell Gardens is the perfect way to help reach additional Eastern Canadian growers.”

Linwell Gardens has announced a large perennial young plant program representing many of the genetics within the ThinkPlants program.  “We are very excited to be in the perennial rooting business,” says Zach Redpath, COO at Linwell Gardens. “And we are happy to now be an official part of the ThinkPlants initiative and the genetics represented.”

The addition of Linwell Gardens membership within ThinkPlants comes on the heels of other new member additions Monrovia Nursery, Royal Van Zanten, Gulley Greenhouses and Headstart Nursery. Group members also include Danziger, Syngenta Flowers, James Greenhouses, Terra Nova Nurseries, Kapiteyn, Unex Inc, Green Circle Growers, Creekside Greenhouses, Kieft Seed and new genetics from Kiwiflora. “We are very proud of the ever-growing ThinkPlants group, the companies and products represented, and our work to help perennial growers in North America,” said Wiseman. “We are a group of independent and well-established breeding and production companies that strive to help members build well-rounded offerings, that are supported by a high-quality and trustworthy supply chain.”

Each ThinkPlants participant brings expertise in plant breeding, horticulture, technical support, supply chain, production, sales, and marketing. It is the strength of these companies working together, which creates such a powerful resource for the North American nursery industry.  “Join us at CAST 2023 to have a look at this season’s new perennial introductions,” adds Wiseman. “We will be at the headquarters of Syngenta Flowers in Gilroy, California, and would love to show you all the best new perennials.”
