NG Heimos to Host 14th Annual Poinsettia Open House

Millstadt Young Plants and N.G. Heimos Greenhouses will host their Poinsettia Trial Open House on Thursday, Nov. 18, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. A special day for brokers to meet with breeders on Nov. 17. The address is 6627 State Route 158, Millstadt, Illinois.

The open house will showcase a comparison trial of hundreds of poinsettia varieties — finished naturally and short day — from seven different breeders: Beekenkamp, Dümmen Orange, Lazzeri, Rhinehart, Selecta, Syngenta Flowers and Suntory. Breakfast and lunch will be provided by sponsors.

Lodging is available at the Hampton Inn, located at Admiral Trost Dr., Columbia, Illinois. Discounted rates are available for the trials. Please inform the hotel you are part of the N.G. Heimos Greehouse group. Call 618.281.9000.
