The National Greenhouse Manufacturers Association (NGMA) will be holding its Semi-Annual meeting in Washington D.C., Oct. 12-14, 2005. Greenhouse manufacturers, component suppliers and academics from across the United States will converge on Washington, D.C., to discuss the rapid growth and continued potential of controlled environment agriculture and horticulture.

NGMA members intend to meet with administration officials and members of Congress to educate them on the critical importance of this sector and discuss strategies for stimulating continued growth.

“Our intention is to discuss, develop and promote strategies, and take action that will move the greenhouse industry forward,” said Richard Reilly, president of the NGMA; “we have members from across the country, from many Congressional districts, who are employers and active in their respective communities, and we intend to collectively voice our support for this industry, for domestic and export growth purposes.”
