Selecta First Class, Inc. will facilitate a webinar highlighting its spring annual program, with a special focus on novelties.

The webinar, which will be led by General Manager Stefan Reiner, is scheduled to take place at 2 p.m. EST on April 14.

Selecta has developed more than 50 new varieties and improvements for 2009-2010. Selecta will introduce the next generation MiniFamous Double varieties, including an orange and amethyst.

The breeder’s specialty pot plant and perennial program is adding new colors to the SuperTrouper Pot Carnation program. Also brand new in their program is ‘Trumpet Red’ gaillardia, ‘LaVela Pink’ lavandula and ‘Soleil Purple’, a drought-tolerant petunia from Tesselaar. Selecta has also added the Begonia Bonfire Series to the mix.
