SAF launches digital marketing course for florists
With Mother’s Day approaching, the Society of American Florists has introduced a new on-demand course to help florists increase customer engagement and online sales.
“Digital Marketing for Flower Shops,” available through SAF’s Floral Education Hub, was developed in partnership with Two Wheels Marketing. The 30-minute course offers an overview of digital marketing strategies tailored to flower shop operations, regardless of experience level.
“This course gives florists exactly what they need to start seeing results,” said Mark Subel, founder of Two Wheels Marketing.
Topics include pay-per-click advertising setup on Google and Bing, crafting effective social media ads on Meta platforms and the basics of search engine optimization. The course also emphasizes measuring return on investment to help florists determine which tactics are most effective.
Kate Delaney, director of education at SAF, said the course was designed to be practical and time-efficient for busy shop owners preparing for one of the year’s biggest floral holidays.
The course is now available on SAF’s education platform.
