SNA’s Sidney B. Meadows Fund to Offer 12 Scholarships

The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund, created in 1989 by the Southern Nursery Association (SNA), reports that eligible horticulture students in their junior, senior or graduate years of study to consider applying for this year’s scholarship.

The fund is projecting a total of 12 $1,500 scholarships to be awarded this year. Students must be residents of the 16 Southeastern states. The deadline for application is May 22. The Scholarship Selection Committee will make its selections by August 1 and recipients will be notified soon thereafter.

Created in 1989 by the Southern Nursery Association, The Sidney B. Meadows Scholarship Endowment Fund is a 501 (c) 3 corporation providing scholarships to students who are residents of the 16 southeastern states SNA represents – Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia – pursuing a career in horticulture.
