Is It Time for Your Community to Bloom? By Tim Hodson

Does your community provide a “welcoming and vibrant place to live, work, and play” for residents as well as visitors?

Is your community “benefitting from colorful plants and trees; enjoying clean environments; celebrating heritage; and planting pride through volunteerism?”

If you answered yes to either of those questions then you should be sure to let your local leaders know about America in Bloom.

America in Bloom is a national awards program that “promotes nationwide beautification through education and community involvement by encouraging the use of flowers, plants, trees, and other environmental and lifestyle enhancement.”

It’s all about providing a framework to help improve the overall quality of life in a community using plants and people!

If you think your local community looks great and is planting pride with its inhabitants then tell your community’s leaders about AIB.

The deadline to register for AIB’s 2015 program is coming up so you to need to act quickly.

Just go to www.americainbloom.org for all of the details.
