• Researched and implemented a new water treatment system that eliminated biofilm buildup in drip lines. System helped reduce labor expenses by $50,000 and eliminated fungal and bacterial spores from the water.

• Managed a propagation and container operation and was able to increase production more than 100% and increase propagation success rates from 60% to 95%.

John likes to go backpacking. “I like the challenge and the simplicity of the days and exploring an area that few people have experienced. My favorite trip was the national lakeshore along Lake Superior.”

John is a competitive curler. “It blends very well with the seasonality of the green industry and it keeps me active in the winter.”
