Joseph Faust

• Has improved plant quality under challenging growing conditions, amending potting media for water high in iron and alkalinities and adding a foliar nutrition program.
• Earned a bachelor’s degree in horticulture from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and worked at an independent garden center in Green Bay, Wisconsin, learning the ins and outs of running a small business.

Family Bonding: Joseph and his family enjoy making maple syrup from the trees in their yard and hatching eggs in their basement incubator to raise their own backyard chickens.

Bulldog in the Back: Joseph’s great uncle was injured in World War II and became a cab driver in England while recovering. “One day he looked in the rear-view mirror, and there was Winston Churchill sitting in the backseat waiting for a ride.”
