  • Has helped grow Metrolina’s test lab to identify crop problems.
  • Completed her master’s degree in plant and environmental sciences at Clemson University. “It was a great privilege to work with Dr. Jim Faust.”


Hot From the Oven: In addition to gardening and reading, baking is one of her favorite hobbies and forms of stress relief: “It is very therapeutic for me.”

Fun Facts

Golf in Their Blood: Hall of Fame golfer Raymond Floyd gifted Katherine’s parents baby golf shoes when she was born. Her dad, uncle and grandfather are/were all golf superintendents and professionals.
