What led you to work in the horticulture industry?
- My mom recommended I start a garden after college before my corporate career began in NYC. The rest was history, and growing food led me to houseplants which led me to landscaping which led me to becoming an environmentalist.
What’s the best thing about your job? (Please select one)
- I get to do what I love, every day
Describe to a 6-year-old what you do in life?
- I teach people how to grow plants and make funny videos about it on the internet so people can learn to care about the planet.

- I was a college baseball player and personal trainer for years, and I currently coach JV baseball in my town.

- Sunflowers. A beautiful, fast-growing annual that feeds birds and baseball players.
