IPM Manager

• Responsible for creating management plans, managing pesticide safety and training, overseeing the diagnostic work for gardens and writing all chemical spray rotations.
• Teaches a pest identification course for Longwood’s Continuing Education Department geared toward a wide audience. Also gives presentations on various IPM topics outside of Longwood as well as internally to Longwood staff.

Rachel likes to cook and is always experimenting in the kitchen. When she was 12, she appeared on celebrity chef Bobby Flay’s TV show, “Food Nation,” on the Food Network.

Rachel has a wandering spirit and loves to travel, visit new places and experience new cultures, when she can find the time. In the past year, she traveled to Italy.
