What 3-4 professional and/or personal accomplishments are you most proud of?
- I made a phenomenal choice in a wife and we continue to invest in our marriage so we can pour into young married couples.
- Proud father of six healthy kids that are sure to make an impact in this world.
- Have made it through 11 springs and counting in the hort industry!
What led you to work in the horticulture industry?
- I grew up with a production cattle background and knew I didn’t want to work with animals, but wanted to stay in ag. I’m not much for golf, so I went the hort route.

- Grow plants and develop people

Do you have any unusual talents, or can you tell us something interesting about yourself that other people may be surprised to find out?
- My senior year, I was almost kicked out of college for riding my horse to class — I’m the only person I know of to receive a parking ticket on a horse.

- Relationships — we aren’t meant to do life alone.

- Discernment
What are your top three bucket list items?
- Work for one of my children in a business they have started
- Promote ag on a large scale
- Help bridge the gap between mass production and regenerative ag
What’s your favorite plant variety and why?
- ‘Lemon Boy’ tomato because it makes the best tomato sandwiches
- ‘Mr. Stripey’ and ‘Cherokee Purple’ are close seconds
You’re buying a vacation package to anywhere in the world without a budget, where are you going?
- Central America or Israel — depending on time of year.
