BioWorks Offers Floriculture ScholarshipSource: BioWorks

BioWorks, Inc., a privately held company that provides environmentally responsible, safe and cost-effective solutions to the horticulture industry, is offering the BioWorks IPM/Sustainable Practices Scholarship for students pursuing a career in floriculture. The scholarship is sponsored through the American Floral Endowment (AFE), a nonprofit funding source for floricultural and horticulture research and educational programs in the United States.

Selection will be based on grade point average, but preference will be given to students interested in furthering the use of integrated pest management or sustainable practices in the industry.

Applications must be submitted by May 1 and can be found on AFE’s website.
