The Year That Was, the Year That Will Be By Tim Hodson

This is the last edition of GPN Weekly that you will be receiving in 2012.

In the coming days, I hope that you are able to take a little time and reflect on everything that has happened this year.

It was quite a year, wasn’t it? I think many people will remember 2012 for the still-slowly recovering economy, the heated elections and the crazy weather (early spring followed by a drought and then Hurricane Sandy!)

With the New Year just around the corner, I am curious to see what 2013 will bring!

Will it be more of the same? Will the housing market continue to rebound? What will lawmakers in Washington do that will impact the Green Industry? How will Mother Nature treat our industry?

Whatever the New Year has in store for us, are you ready for it? We’ll find out in 12 months, won’t we?

From all of us at GPN, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

– Tim

P.S. One quick reminder – The deadline to nominate someone for the 2013 edition of GPN’s 40 Under 40 list is less than a month away. Click here for details on how to submit a nomination.
