The Color Crystal Ball
The Pantone Fashion Color Report for Spring 2015 was released last week.
According to Pantone’s Executive Director Leatrice Eiseman, “there is a move toward the cooler and softer side of the color spectrum” coming in the next year.
Consumers can expect an “eclectic, ethereal mix of understated brights, pale pastels and nature-like neutrals.”
The 16 colors to be on the lookout for in 2015 include : Aquamarine; Scuba Blue; Lucite Green; Classic Blue; Toasted Almond; Strawberry Ice; Tangerine; Custard; Marsala; Glacier Gray; Dusk Blue; Treetop; Woodbine; Sandstone; Titanium; and Lavender Herb.
Eiseman said these colors will help restore consumers’ sense of wellbeing and bring back memories of “retro delights, folkloric and floral art and the magic worlds of tropical landscapes.”
