What’s the Forecast for 2015?

As we head into the last month of the year and the 2014 version of Old Man Winter begins to settle in, now is a good time to sit back and reflect on the year that was.

I think most people will agree that last winter was pretty ugly. Record cold, record snow, record yuck! Old Man Winter made his presence known and then overstayed his welcome. When spring finally broke, there was a good initial run on the garden centers to wash away the lingering effects of the brutal, seemingly never-ending winter — however, reports on how good the rest of the season varied by region.

With 2015 on the horizon, the financial pundits tell us the economy is the healthiest it has been in years — even though we all know it could always be healthier. So consumers have money to spend — now we just need to be sure Mother Nature cooperates and provides those consumers with ideal buying conditions.

The weather is so unpredictable. And getting an accurate forecast from the local weatherperson is maddening. But we all tune in to see what the weather prognosticators are predicting -— right or wrong.

What’s your forecast for 2015? Will it be a sunny year or are you predicting a partly sunny or partly cloudy year for your business?

Drop me a line at thodson@sgcmail.com and let me know which way you think the wind will be blowing and if it will be a sunny year for you.
