Independent Plant Breeders Conference to Meet in November

Registration is now open for the 2018 Independent Plant Breeders Conference.

The conference will take place Nov.-10, in Mobile, Alabama.

Among the presenters scheduled to speak are:

• Bill Barnes – Horticulture Professor – Barnes Arboretum
• Cassy Bright – Director – Patent Basics
• Ming Cai – Professor – Bejing Forestry University
• Mike Dirr- Retired Professor – UGA Plant Breeders
• Bobby Green – Camellia Breeder – Green Nurseries
• Buddy Lee – Plant Innovation Director – Plant Development Services, Inc.
• Allen Owings – Former director of Hammond Research Station. Currently, Bracy’s Nursery & Clegg’s Nursery
• Ken Stuart – Propagation Manager – Flowerwood Nursery
• Angela Treadwell-Palmer- President – Plants Nouveau
