The Nomination Season is Just Getting Started By Tim Hodson

Now that the mid-term election season is almost over, it is time to start accepting nominations —  nominations for GPN’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2019.

Each year in the May issue of GPN, we highlight the achievements of 40 young men and women who are making a difference in our industry’s future. Simply put, they are creating our industry’s future, and we want you to know who those individuals are!

Now it is time to find the Class of 2019.

We are looking for the next Fab 40 who represent the industry’s next generation of leadership and innovation.

All of the members of GPN’s 40 Under 40 are nominated by their peers, so it is up to YOU to let us know who you think belongs in next year’s class and why they should be selected.

Anyone in the horticulture industry is eligible to be nominated — as long as they are under the age of 40 (as of Jan. 31, 2019).

Growers, garden center retailers, breeders, researchers, landscape professionals, scientists, marketers, academics and so many more — GPN’s 40 Under 40 represents all facets of horticulture, but the individual members all have one thing in common, they are the pioneers for the future of our industry!

To nominate someone just go to www.gpnmag.com/40-under-40-nomination and fill out the online form.

Someone that was previously nominated but was not selected in prior years is eligible for the Class of 2019 and can be renominated as long as they have not yet turned 40.

The deadline for nominations is Jan. 21, 2019.

Let the nomination season begin …
