Hydroponics Supplier Hydra Unlimited Hires Senior Sales Staff

Hydra Unlimited, a leading manufacturer of deep-water culture solutions for craft and commercial hydroponics, has hired Chris Gioia as its new senior business development manager.

In this role, Gioia is responsible for new business as well as existing accounts. Additionally, he actively participates with cross-functional teams in seeking new product opportunities.

Gioia brings to Hydra Unlimited a strong background in large-scale cannabis hybridization and growing operations. Recently, he was the director of cultivation and resident scientist for MJ Verdant. Prior, he was a consultant and resident scientist for Symbiosis Consulting. Gioia has a bachelor of arts degree from Grand Valley University in Allendale, Michigan.

“Chris brings a valuable skill set to Hydra Unlimited,” Fred Estrada, vice president of sales, said in the release. “His leadership, extensive practical experience in the cannabis industry and client-first focus will be a great asset to our customers.”

Hydra Unlimited designs, engineers and manufactures solutions for hydroponic operations. It offers complete deep water culture systems, as well as its pioneering new growing media, TetraBase.
